Musician, Composer, Co-producer
I record original music under the name douze vitesses (“twelve speed” in French). Influenced by indie rock, ambient, jazz, and experimental music, this project evolves looping vocals, guitar and percussion in ambient textures and enveloping landscapes of sound.
I’m passionate about cross-disciplinary collaboration, and have experience co-producing experimental artistic projects that prioritize building relationships across mediums.
I’m working on a debut EP album, and am open to composition projects and collaboration. Find my music on Bandcamp!
A Long Side: A Queer Double Portrait
I composed music and performed in this experimental modern dance/performance art project with dancers Emily Ames and Rae Luebbert. We performed in Salt Lake City February 2025 and in Washington, DC in April 2025 at Dance Place New Releases.
Shoreline Swell
With Rae Luebbert, I co-produce Shoreline Swell, a multidisciplinary cohort bringing together musicians, dancers and literary artists to make ecologically themed performance works. Funded by the SLC Arts Council, the first iteration in 2023 invited 20 musicians and dancers in Utah; the second iteration in 2025 adds literary artists and focuses on Great Salt Lake.

Podcast composer
I co-produce the podcast Stay Salty: Lakefacing Stories, and compose and record all of the music in our episodes. The podcast is about overlooked stories from people connected to and impacted by the receding Great Salt Lake. We explore what it means to stay as we face an environmental and public health crisis.
Soundtrack composer
Amelia composed three tracks for the experimental documentary A Spell for Queer Home by SLC-based Amanda Madden.
About the film: “Braiding together embodied exploration, stories and wisdom from queer and trans folks across the country, and original spell songs, this film is a meditation and reflection on the question - what does it mean to be at home as a queer person? How do we know when we have arrived? How do we build and create queer home? How do we know in our bones that it is already happening? This film is a spell - the layers weave and stir to conjure a spell for queer home.”
